Students are not left more attentive because they can get all information that they need with just a single click of a button.
They even don’t know the time they are wasting on the internet instead of studying is losing their self-thinking capability.
They are feeding themselves with an excess of information that is not meant to be taken.
They used to surf the internet for information that they can’t even retain or remember after hours in a session.
The time and energy which they are spending on surfing just give them artificial satisfaction, but if used doing more worthwhile and productive things, it can give them better results.
Less involvement in the family
While surfing stuff on the internet we are also taking unnecessary information which let us to spent lots of time and energy. Excessive intake of data makes us tired and steals away time. Instead of enjoying time with family, we used to waste time with devices even while on the dining table.
Staying up late
Some students stay up late at night just poring over random things on the internet. This is very harmful to the growing minds of students. Also, when they wake up the next day, they have low energy and tend to not pay attention or even fall asleep in class.
Internet addiction
Spending more time online have increased the risk of developing internet addiction. It can also impact the skills and the life of students. The excessive intake of mindless data can lead to vulnerability of addiction.
Moral corruption
Yes, we can find anything on the internet and this is also true for inappropriate things. Students who stick themselves with the internet are exposing to material that can corrupt them which can result in bad mental and behavioral development.
In this case, the internet affects students by feeding them unfiltered information.
